The tower, 83 m high, in the Brabant-Gothic style, is a real eyecatcher.
The bell tower carries 49 bell carillon, restored in 1974. Above the entrance arch a
limestone sculpture of St-Martin sharing his cloak by Constant Devreese 1823-1900): between
the arches a neo-Gothic style sculpture of
Saint-Martin, bishop (J.J.Lelan, 1939)
